When it comes to the classroom setting, whiteboards are a great tool for 3 reasons.
1. Brainstorming.
Brainstorming and whiteboards come up a lot together but If you would ask anyone, I think it is more enjoyable to write on a dry erase board over just a piece of paper! If there is a discussion about science, you could have the students split up into two groups and ask them to write as many things as they know about photosynthesis!
2. One on One
There is no better way than to learn one on one with a tutor or teacher. The use of a whiteboard can only enhance this learning experience too! The ability for the teacher to sit down next to the student and literally write out exactly what something means is how we learn!
3. Spelling
For younger students just learning how to spell, I know whiteboards make it so much more fun to spell words! Just using something other than a pen or pencil takes away from how boring it is to learn how to spell at that age. Before you know it, you've learned a ton of words and it was fun doing it because there was a whiteboard involved. We call this the "whiteboard effect" :)
